These Curious Professionals Are Not Too Cool for School

In June of this year, we had our first ever CPD-accredited training in association with the Pretoria Institute for Architecture (PIA), where we welcomed a room full of professionals with varying degrees of experience and knowledge of working with engineered materials in a digital manufacturing environment.

The 2-day training course was packed full of theory, practical demonstrations and hands-on experiences. We even hosted a networking event with the attendees, other members of PIA not attending the course and our main industry partners Universal Plywood, Rothoblaas and Advanced Machinery all in attendance.

During the course we demonstrated how to manufacture a product and enjoyed seeing the production-line buzz in our workshop as the attendees moved from sanding to assembly and then to branding (literally) with the RAW stamp of approval.

Each attendee took home their very own flatpack chair, heaps of newfound knowledge and some wood dust in their hair.
