Back to our furniture roots in perfect acoustic pitch.

For 16 years Raw has first and foremost been a furniture design and supply company, and although we’ve shaken things up a bit this year with the restructuring of our offerings to design, furniture and structures, our roots still lie in furniture design and making sure spaces function as they should so people can get on with meaningful work.

We recently got to work with our long-time favourite Architects at Earthworld again on a beautifully designed campus for Jalo Properties in Gauteng, and where considered architecture and open minded clients meet…great design is bound to follow.

In every space here the solid birch plywood furniture perfectly complements the cool concrete, steel, and glass interior. From foyer and boardroom where we designed and supplied an impressive 4,6m long (14-seater) boardroom table, to meeting spaces and through to the open workspaces and private offices our Epik workstations, storage units, round tables and seating caters to their every functional need.

Apart from all the furniture we also produced and supplied another very important element to these spaces: an acoustic solution. In open office spaces with highly reflective surfaces some highly absorptive surfaces are also necessary to bring the noise levels down. Custom designed by Earthworld Architects and produced / installed by Raw these suspended acoustic boxes is just what the client needed.

This is, of course not our first acoustic rodeo and for a showcase of our abilities on other projects like UP Centenary Building please visit: UP Centenary Doors Panels
